Once something reserved exclusively for the military or the super rich, drones are now small, affordable, and easy to use for many people across the globe. And thanks to their advanced technology, you can do some pretty amazing stuff with them. AkXpro Productions uses drones to capture some incredible bird's-eye-view footage that you would have needed a helicopter for just a few years ago, but they've really outdone themselves with this video they got of a humpback whale feeding frenzy.
There's so much we don't know about life in the ocean, so having drones that can fly over miles and miles of open water is a relatively cheap way to study marine life that occurs near the surface of the water. They've captured some awesome things in the past, too— just check out this video that a man captured of a massive pod of dolphins when all he intended to do was film his boat!
This isn't the first time we've seen unbelievable whale footage thanks to a drone, either. It wasn't long ago that another aerial video enthusiast captured this incredible moment between a mother whale and her calf and reminded us just how beautiful our world is. This video also shows the amazing things that happen in our oceans that happen every second without us even knowing about them. But thanks to modern technology, it's likely that stunning videos of marine life will become more and more common as the years go by.
If you love this unbelievably video as much as I do, SHARE it with your friends so they can appreciate the beauty of some of the world's largest creatures!
