These Easy-To-Make Frozen Drunken Grapes Are The Perfect Summer Treat!

Summer is my favorite time of year.

I love the beautiful weather, but sometimes it can get a little hot for my taste. That's why I love to relax with a cool and refreshing treat at the end of a long day. When I saw this delicious, easy-to-make recipe for the perfect adult summer snack, I had to make it.

These wine soaked frozen grapes are exactly what I want on a hot summer day, so we decided to give this simple recipe a try here in the LittleThings office. The results? Everyone crowded into the kitchen helping themselves to seconds and thirds — at the end of the workday, of course.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white wine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups green grapes

Now that we’ve tried these in the office, I definitely plan to bring them to my next barbecue. This treat is easier to eat than a popsicle and has a delicious burst of sweet wine flavor that will have everyone talking!

Special thanks to Maya Borenstein for these amazing images.

After the grapes have soaked, remove the jar from the fridge. Pour out the wine marinade, but don't throw it away. This sweet wine makes a delicious beverage to accompany your snack!
