This is just incredible!
We've seen artists use unexpected materials to create before — like, say, barbecue sauce. The video below is no exception, and the finished product truly blows my mind.
Bernie Mitchell from Dry Wall Nation is an artist who takes a very unique approach towards his work using only drywall compounds to create wonderful works of art. Yep! While it first appears that Bernie is working on his home in a typical fashion, the truth is much more amazing. Instead, he creates lush landscapes right there in the drywall, as if they're popping out in 3D!
As one YouTube commenter says, "In his profession as a drywall finisher, he was experimenting with raised panels on wall surfaces where natural light had a positive effect as a relief form."
Precision Taping invited Bernie to star in their video — which went viral with more than two million views — to help open everyone's minds to the endless possibilities we have in the world of drywalling and taping! I'm no handyman myself, but I can at least appreciate this artwork for its originality and high level of crazy skill.
Please SHARE this video with your friends on Facebook, and let's give Bernie the props he deserves.
