It was a sad day at the Wildlife Aid hospital, when more than nine little ducklings were admitted after they had been found without their mother. After the babies were fed and given a quick health check, they were left to play together. But then, something unexpected happened.
An adult female duck was brought in after being hit by a car that injured only her eye. Suddenly, as more information came in, it became more apparent that the adult female was the mother to the little ducklings. Thankfully, she was reintroduced to her babies via the hospital and welcomed them "home." It's amazing how things turned out in the end.
