You just have to love a self-made man.
Dylan Bird from Cavan, Ireland may not be the best dancer to ever grace Britain's Got Talent, but he's definitely one of the most brave…and when it comes to talent shows, that can take you a long way! Just take this 16-year-old girl for example — when she auditioned for the first time on X Factor, she was scared stiff and completely froze in fear, but that didn't stop her from risking an embarrassing moment and taking another chance. As you can see, a little courage can go a very long way.
Up until now, the only dance training Dylan had was dancing alone in his bedroom in front of the mirror. The shy 16-year-old boy taught himself everything he knows and surprisingly, he's much better than you might expect! When Dylan graced the Britain's Got Talent stage, he was visibly nervous, telling the judges it wasn't just his first time performing for an audience, but his first time out of Ireland. You can only imagine what this guy was going through as the music to the Jessie J song "Bang Bang," but when one of the judges pressed their red X to stop his performance, he must've been devastated.
Luckily, even though judge Alesha Dixon didn't love Dylan's bedroom dancing, the other judges thought he was great and sent him through to the next round. Even the harshest judge, Simon Cowell, told him "I think the thing is, Dylan, I do find a lot of dance acts quite boring. I think you were great and fun."
