Easter Sunday has come and gone. Many celebrated with their family and friends, taking part in activities like egg hunting and, of course, fun with the Easter Bunny!
But in the case of the family in the video below, a harmless picture with the Easter Bunny wasn't all that it seemed to be.
Shot in Elgin, South Carolina, a group of family and friends were gathered in a backyard for a photoshoot with a man disguised as the Easter Bunny.
They gathered on a bench. The photographer yelled, "One, two, three!"
But instead of taking the picture, the man in the Easter Bunny costume took off his mask. And when the woman sitting next to him laid eyes on the face of the man under the mask, she let out a huge scream. Then she threw her arms around him in a huge hug.
In fact, the man in the costume was actually Sergeant Shea Yarborough!
Sergeant Yarborough had been stationed in Afghanistan with the Army National Guard, a deployment that had lasted 10 long months.
He returned on Saturday, April 15, and planned the surprise with his wife, Jodi.
"I hid him for the night and, as you saw it, borrowed the Easter bunny costume from our local church to pull off this amazing surprise!" Jodi said.
Check out the surprise in the video below, and please SHARE it on Facebook!
