With an invisible web of Wi-Fi and the Cloud forever floating above our heads, it's easy to forget that cell phones are a relatively new technology; it only seems like they've been with us since the beginning of time.
But most generations can easily remember a world before selfies, hashtags, and leaked nudes. Theirs were the days of rotary dials, phone tables, and live operators.

Snapchat is a fun and easy way to send photos and videos directly to friends. But unlike Facebook or Instagram, what you send will only last for up to 10 seconds.
The photos and videos you send are called "Snaps," and you control who you send them to. Once time is up, the Snap disappears from your friend's phone and Snapchat deletes it from their servers.
When you open the app, it looks and acts much like your phone's camera. You can snap a regular photo, a selfie, or a video.
You can then either draw on the photo, or write a caption. It's a fun way to chat with friends and family, and it's very popular with teens and young adults. But how do older folks feel about this new social media app?
