These tourists got VERY up close and personal with the wild animals during their visit to Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa. While on the African safari trail, the two people inside the VW Polo had to hold on for dear life when an elephant approached the car and decided to use it as a scratching post. The incredible images were taken by Armand Grobler, a field guide and lodge manager.
Although the driver and passenger lived to tell their wild tale (read more about it here), the car was not so lucky. All the windows and roof were smashed and all four tires were blown out!
