More and more often I find myself amazed at the power and capabilities of technology. Seemingly far off and exotic lands and animals quickly come into focus with just the click of a few buttons. A great example of one of those amazing animals coming to life before your eyes is displayed perfectly in this next video.
When Cristian Dimitrius, a wildlife photographer known for his unorthodox filming techniques, visited the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya, he decided to strap a GoPro to a herd of elephants. Needless to say the results are awesome!
Watching the video, you get the feeling that you are riding on top of or standing right next to these amazing creatures while they roam around.
Elephants are known for their larger than life personalities and also for making us laugh. Just check out this baby elephant who throws the most adorable temper tantrum or this elephant who has a great time playing soccer. Also, who could forget the adorable elephant struggling with an itch he just can't seem to scratch. You gotta love them!
And the elephants in this video are no different. Just watch as they munch on leaves and roll around in the dirt. You will be amazed!
It's really fascinating getting up close and personal with these large animals and Dimitrius does a great job of getting us right in on the action.
