A breast cancer survivor named Mindy Cabrales had the surprise of a lifetime thanks to her two daughters.
The two college students wrote to Ellen DeGeneres in order to get their mom on her popular talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2001. Fought like a warrior to beat it. Meeting you is her dream and I can't think of anyone more deserving than my mom. You are her ultimate hero, Ellen, and she is mine," one of the letters read.
The other said, "She records every episode of your show and is immediately put into a good mood even when she's having a rough day."
Their beautiful letters touched DeGeneres so much that Cabrales was invited on stage during an episode. She got to sit right next to her idol.
But, that wasn't the only surprise the emotional mom would receive that day. Just like the time DeGeneres surprised a couple who adopted five children, this moment is full of emotion.
"I could feel the love this family had for each other," DeGeneres wrote about Cabrales and her two girls on Facebook. "I’m happy I could give them more to love."
