Elvis Presley was always known for his extravagant sense of style. From his iconic white suits to his perfectly coiffed hair, the King always liked some extra flair.
It turns out that his sense of style carried to his modes of transportation as well.
Of course, this shouldn't surprise us — just take a look at his velvet-lined 1962 private jet!
Elvis wasn't often photographed with his car, but it won't come as a shock to anyone that his chosen vehicle was a light-pink 1957 Cadillac DeVille. The interior is pink and black, and looks like it truly hasn't changed since the 1950s.
The Cadillac has been shown at the Presley Motors Automobile in Graceland for the past 30 years, but now it's going up for auction.
Experts have valued the car at over $500,000, but bidding starts at just $18,000!
If you're a huge Elvis fan (and honestly, who isn't?), this might be your chance to get an iconic piece of his memorabilia.
Elvis was known for his love of luxury.
He had a very humble upbringing, so when he became a star, he really embraced the glamorous life.
Elvis actually owned three pink Cadillacs, which he wrote about in his alternate lyrics for "Baby, Let's Play House."
For years, one of these iconic Cadillacs remained at Graceland for fans to take a peek at.
The incredible pink Cadillac is an emblem of Elvis' extravagant lifestyle.
The 1957 car was probably purchased around the same time Elvis became a breakout star.
The auction listing reads:
This is a 1957 Cadillac DeVille.
This vehicle has been through a documented restoration, and has been written about by several publications.
The exterior and interior have been beautifully restored, with great attention to detail and finishings.
This car has been authenticated by two Presley family members, one of which was a beloved former 22 year employee at Graceland.
The winning bidder will receive both original, signed, and notarized affidavits, the GM archives, and a file full of information that has been collected over the years.
The winning bidder will also receive a photograph of the vehicle on display at a museum, where it was exhibited as Elvis Presley’s Cadillac.
The vehicle was exhibited in that museum for over 20 years (according to our seller).
It's obvious from the photos that this car is authentic and still just as flashy as the day Elvis bought it!
It's unclear whether the car is in working condition, but it definitely looks pristine.
Experts have valued the pink Cadillac at over $500,000, but the opening bid on the website is only $18,000.
