Emma the cow's journey has been a long and tumultuous one, but finally the animal can be at peace. Initially raised to be brought into a slaughterhouse, her path took a turn for the best thanks to human compassion. Emma was rescued from her hurtful handlers will now be able to spend the rest of her life with a loving family — a simple luxury she had never experienced before.
However, at the start of the video, she doesn't quite know it yet. You can see it in her eyes as she literally cries: she is so anxious and apprehensive for what's to come. Once she is released, Emma does a lot of things for the first time; it reminds me of this short video where two cows, Panda and Jazzy, meet for the first time.
In the video below, Emma gets to meet the other cows who will become her family, run around like every creature deserves to, and ultimately gets her freedom back!
