Get ready to have your mind blown because this could totally happen to you! Who knows?!
Imagine you're like Neil Richardson. You retire to a new town but when you get there, everyone is saying hello to you. And it's not in a regular, friendly way — instead, the'y re acting as if they recognize you. Though you've never seen any of these people before.
They aren't only saying hi, some are calling you John. It must be a practical joke, right?
Someone must have told these people that you're John for some reason. Or maybe…you've got a doppelgänger.
It isn't so crazy. In Ireland, Niamh Geaney and Karen Branigan found out they were each other's doppelgängers, and they only live 30 minutes away from each other. Even celebrities have got doppelgängers!
Neil Richardson finally ran into John Jemison and understood why people were calling him John.
But the story is way, way crazier than the coincidence of two men looking alike. There are a lot of incredible coincidence between these two.
See their story below and SHARE if this made you freak out a little!
This is Neil Richardson. Richardson retired and moved to the small town of Braintree, located in Essex, U.K. Little did he know he was going to get the surprise of his life!

"I walked through the streets. I was really surprised at how many people waved to me and said, 'Hello, John!' 'Hello, John!' " He told NPR. People insisted that he was John Jemison.

Then, unaware of each other's existence, both Richardson and Jemison signed up for a British Library exhibition on the Magna Carta (a very specific interest, mind you).

When Richardson heard someone call out Jemison's name, he approached him. "Neil said to me, 'You must be John Jemison.' And I said, 'Yes, I am. What have I done now?' " Jemison said.

What the two men discovered next was uncanny! The two both studied at the College of St. Mark and St. John during the same time.

Both men proposed to their wives within a week of meeting them!

"We've both got sons who play the didgeridoo," says Richardson. On top of that, they both went on to become religious teachers after college and, though they are retired, they both sing in the church choir! In fact, the two men have such similar interests and knowledge that they're even able to finish each other's sentences!
"What's the word? 'There are many things in this world, Horatio,' is it? I haven't got the exact right ... " Jemison attempts to quote Hamlet.

" 'There's more to Heaven and Earth than in your philosophy, Horatio,' " and Richardson corrects him.
