Sometimes, the best thing we can do for ourselves is to indulge in the smaller, finer things in life.

This can be anything — from taking vacations in the most creative way, to trying your hand at making the tastiest summer treats and just finding quiet windows of time to relax.

One cafe in Australia has definitely come up with a fantastic way to lure in those in search of the most extravagant summer treats.

It's serving up some of the most insane-looking menu items that I've ever seen — and so far, customers have gone absolutely crazy for them.

Sure, it's definitely great to make your own summer snacks at home. But why not indulge in some of the most ridiculously wonderful desserts in shops, especially if they look this good?

"I wanted to do some really great shakes, and so ridiculous and over the top that people just had to take a photo of it before they ate it," she told The Canberra Times. Thus, the four "epic freak shakes" were born.

"I have people waiting an hour for a table, and they'll wait 45 minutes for a shake, because we put a lot of time into them and once we run out that's it for the day," said Petridis. Every ingredient is house-made, from the brownies to the marshmallows.

These epic proportions call for epic ingredients. The Nutella shake, for example, has a grand dose of Nutella, whipped cream, and crushed pretzels. The brownie shake is topped with hot chocolate fudge, brownies, cream, and toasted marshmallows.

Because there is a limit to how many ingredients the kitchen has on hand each day, the cafe sells out most of its shakes by the afternoon.

In addition, the cafe has a wide selection of other delicious goods, including red velvet cakes, cheesecake mousse domes, and this marvelous caramel sponge cake with a chunky peanut butter chocolate fudge.
