Groom And His Mom Go Head-To-Head In Epic Dance Battle

Guests at the wedding of Evan Hegge and Jenna Van Heek on Saturday were treated to an extra special surprise.

After the traditional father-daughter and mother-son dances, Evan stepped back on the dance floor where he and his mom had a head-to-head dance battle. The only people who knew were his immediate family and the DJ, so even his bride was shocked when the pair hit the dance floor.

Set to a medley of popular songs including "Get Up Offa That Thing" by James Brown, "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls, "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham and "Teach Me How To Dougie" by Cali Swag District, the mother and son showed off their impressive dance moves. Mom even hams it up and shows some attitude during the five-minute dance number, which gets plenty of cheers from the surprises guests.

At 4:19, the pair surprised guests with one final surprise. (We won't spoil it for you, but you don't want to miss this!) This might be the most epic mother-son dance off yet. It is always great to see kids and their parents share a special moment out on the dance floor, like the bride who danced with her dad to a song he wrote especially for that day or this groom's unforgettable dance with his mom, just days before she died.

A video was posted on YouTube to make it easier for family and friends to see the epic showdown, and it has quickly gone viral.
