His Wife Was Acting Strange, But When Doctors Reveal The Truth? I’m Speechless…

Nearly 5.2 million Americans have Alzheimer's, a disease that affects one in nine people ages 65 and older. Alzheimer's, which worsens as it progresses, can be debilitating — and there's no cure.

The short film you're about to see tells the true story of a man who is still deeply in love with his wife who suffers from alzheimer's disease, standing by her side, caring for her every day, no matter what. Pure, unconditional love.

The second Fred met Evelyn as a young man, he knew she was only girl he'd ever wanted to be with. The film reveals Fred's day-to-day life as he happily tends to Evelyn — from feeding her to doing whatever he can to see her smile.

Fred knows his wife is not the same person as she used to be, but it hasn't stopped him from loving her just the same. "I live for her, and she lives for me," he says.

Filmmakers Luke Holland and Gemma Cryan managed to capture something so heartbreaking, yet so beautiful. Fred and Evelyn are an inspiration to us all.

I can only hope my husband loves me as much as Fred loves Evelyn.
