For years, 57-year-old Xiang Yuncui has made sure her granddaughter gets to school on time – by carrying her two hours each way.
Her granddaughter has cerebral palsy and can't walk, and even though the school she goes to has boarding facilities, Xiang's grandchild is not allowed to use them because of her condition. So every day, Xiang puts her granddaughter on her back and carries her, often through icy conditions. No matter what, Xiang is determined to make sure her granddaughter has an education.
And even after years of doing this, they haven't been late once.
