Whether you grew up in the '70s or are just now reaching adulthood, you're almost guaranteed to have heard The Eagles on the radio. This legendary band is known for hits like "Hotel California" and "Desperado," but my favorite song they've ever performed is "Take It Easy." This anthem about not taking life too seriously and living in the moment is both catchy and insightful, and it's inspired numerous covers including a successful one by country singer Travis Tritt. But this rendition by a harmonious trio might be my favorite of all time.
Faithless Street's style is simple — all they need are a couple of guitars and their voices to completely blow you away. I mean, just listen to the way they harmonize! It sends chills down my spine. But just like this young woman who plays "Hotel California" on the guitar, these young musicians have created a cover that the Eagles themselves would be proud of. I really hope they see this video!
I was born long after the 1970s had come and gone, but I love the music from that decade much more than I love most of the music of today. I'm so glad to hear bands like Faithless Street and this adorable, talented 5th-grade percussionist group making sure that this kind of quality music lives on even in a time when repetitive pop songs dominate the radio waves.
If you love this delightful song cover as much as I do, SHARE this video with all your friends!
