My mother always used to say, "Play with fire, and you'll get burned," but in the case of this video below, sometimes you play with fire and you end up with a finished product that is so absolutely mesmerizing, you just have to share it with others.
Just like the video featuring different tricks you can do by lighting candles, when we saw this video below, we were all so impressed that we kept calling our coworkers over to our desk to watch. (Make sure you watch til the very end to see the finished product.)
This video was filmed by a technology-based community center in Severn, MD called Unallocated Space. It's public to the community and it encourages people to come and work on a variety of project they would like to create. People work on hardware or software projects, woodworking crafts, and in other media. They create fascinating art pieces, inventions, and projects like the one below.
Of course, I hope it goes without saying that you should absolutely not attempt a stunt like this at home. There were people trained in fire safety in attendance at the event. Generally, fanning a fire in your own personal space is definitely not encouraged.
In this one instance, however, we are grateful to see the amazing results of what happens by placing 11 fans around a fire.
