When Vin Diesel Said THIS About His Late Friend, I Couldn’t Stop Crying. That Is True Friendship

More than a year since Paul Walker's passing away, his Fast and the Furious co-star Vin Diesel says he still feels his presence.

As the actor placed his handprints in cement at the forecourt of TCL Chinese Theatre, he said his buddy was right by his side for the big moment.

The two actors began the highly successful Fast and the Furious journey in the early 2000s — Diesel stars as Dominic Toretto while Walker played Brian O'Conner.

“I feel he’s here today,” Diesel says in the video below at the :47 mark. “I feel like to honor Dom, is to honor Brian.”

Diesel previously honored his late friend by naming his newborn daughter Pauline after Walker, who died in a car accident on November 30, 2013 at the age of 40.

His death occurred as the seventh installment was in production. Walker’s two brothers, Cody and Caleb, were brought on set as body doubles to finish the film.

"This movie is more than a movie,” Diesel said at the Fast 7 premiere. "You'll feel it when you see it. There's something emotional that happens to you, where you walk out of this movie and you appreciate everyone you love because you just never know when the last day is you're gonna see them."
