An overwhelmed father just attacked the suspect in his 3-year-old child's disappearance while in court.
Footage released by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office shows Tonio Hugh, the biological father of 3-year-old Nylo Lattimore, charging at 22-year-old Desean Brown during a pretrial hearing. Brown is the prime suspect in Nylo's disappearance.
What Brown is accused of is simply horrific. He allegedly stabbed his girlfriend, Nyteisha Lattimore, to death in December 2020, then threw the 3-year-old into the Ohio River from a bridge. The child is presumed dead.
Officers had to physically restrain Hugh, who was punching Brown. The father reportedly calmed down after Brown was taken out of the room. He was comforted by one of the officers, who had been knocked down during the scuffle. When he asked if she was OK, she replied: "I'm good. I want you to be OK."
Another officer instructed the father to "take a minute" and "breathe." They also told him to "let the system work."
Hugh was found in contempt of court and sentenced to seven days in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
