He Pours Propane Into A Coffee Table. The Result? WHOA!

A coffee table is the centerpiece of every living room. It sets the tone, almost silently saying, “hey room, feed off of my vibe” — leaving the sofa, armchair, ottoman, and TV to bask in its magazine-and-knick-knack-adorned glory.

Being that this single piece of furniture is so essential to the living room environment, people have begun taking the creation of coffee tables into their own hands. And why not? People are building their own shelves, dressers, and even tiny homes, so why not coffee tables as well?

Building coffee tables isn’t surprising, but the kinds of coffee tables they're making are!

For instance, one Imgur user, sherpaderpa, decided to make a coffee table I have never before seen in my entire life. It’s completely crazy! And it all started off with wood, a little propane, and a dream…

First, a few imperative pieces, like some tubing and metal trays, had to be ordered from Canada. A little bit of a pain, but the pay off is worth it!

Then he began making a few metal cages.

Which end up being the skeleton of the coffee table.

He attached everything.

Then he gave the coffee table a pinch of panache by adding the feature that makes it truly make it unique.
