Everyone can easily agree that a firefighter is one of the bravest, selfless, and amazing people in the whole world. These men and women actually volunteered to do this job, and while most of us would run away from a burning house, these people run straight into them at full sprint!
While these brave men and women are well known for their bravery in the face of danger, they're also amazing members of their local communities who help the world become a better place. From saving cats stuck in trees to helping out senior citizens, the video below features just how great they really are.
A firefighter in Sacramento was walking on the sidewalk when he saw a small brown fluff of feathers. He knelt down to the tiny body and realized it was a baby hummingbird who had been pushed out of his nest. The baby was on the brink of death, but the firefighter decided he would try his best to nurse the little baby back to health.
Naming the little baby Pat, this firefighter managed to save its life by feeding it sugar water over the course of 2 days. Little Pat was eventually given to animal health professionals, and it seems like this little baby is going to make it all thanks to a firefighter who had the time to care!
