Firefighters Go Above And Beyond To Help A Grandmother In Need. So Touching!!!

When the City of Santa Barbara Fire Department got a call to assist an elderly woman who had taken a tumble in their yard, they had no idea what a huge impact they'd be making on their local community.

The Mesa, California woman tripped on the overgrown shrubs in her yard that line her walkway and badly hurt herself. The unnamed 81-year-old woman broke her arm and hurt her shoulder. She was rushed to the hospital, but since she lives alone, the SBFD Captainand another firefighter felt bad for the woman and knew they could help.

While she recovered at the hospital, the two firefighters returned to her home and took care of the badly-needed yard work. They trimmed her hedges, cleared the walkway and piled up three bags of branches, making her home safe to return to.
