How To Fix A Broken Nail In No Time

It's everyone's worst nightmare: One second you're going about your day — the next: You've snagged your nail on something and you're out a manicure with no time to pay a visit to your salon.

Before you try anything drastic, give this quick and simple trick from nail expert and YouTube vlogger Sandi at cutepolish a whirl! Rather than having to clip all of your nails to a length equal to that of your broken one, Sandi has a solution that'll get you squared away in a pinch — and you'll even be able to give yourself a clear-coat manicure!

Using a small bottle of nail glue — one you can throw in your purse for when these small crises arise — press the broken part down and make sure it's lined up with your nail where it ripped. Add nail glue across the rip, and allow the glue to dry for about 3–4 minutes (feel free to use a generous amount, as the glue will flatten).

As Sandi mentions in the video, you can paint over the repaired nail when it's dry, but be aware that any nail polish remover will wipe off the bond and you'll need to reapply another layer. Simple, no?
