Florence Henderson's 2011 memoir From Broadway Baby to a Lovely Lady contained plenty of interesting nuggets and gems from her time in Hollywood, including details about her time filming The Brady Bunch.
One of the more unexpected details was that Florence reportedly got an STD from a man she had a one-night stand with (while she was still married).

Florence wrote that she and former New York Mayor John Lindsay met up for drinks at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and things between them took a turn. As she put it in the book, "I was lonely. I knew it wasn't the right thing to do."

The two were intimate, and Florence says that when she woke up the next day, there were "little black things" crawling on her. It turns out her romantic partner had given her pubic lice.
She continued, "Guess I learned the hard way that crabs do not discriminate but cross over all socioeconomic strata. He must have had quite the active life. What a way to put the kibosh on a relationship."
Florence was married to her first husband, Ira Bernstein, at the time. The pair had four children together: Barbara, Joseph, Bob, and Elizabeth Bernstein. She admitted to cheating on her husband with Lindsay as well as others.
John Lindsay passed away in 2000, and his wife of many years died in 2004. As such, there was no one to refute Florence's story when her book was published in 2011.
