When I was a little kid, there was nothing I feared more than a hand reaching out from beneath my bed and yanking me under. Every night, I had to psych myself up to climb into bed by taking a running leap from three feet away.
Granted, my fear might have been partially inspired by my lurking, predatory cat who behaved a lot like this guy. Still, to this day, I occasionally panic if my ankle gets tangled in the bed skirt.
Now, I thought that I was mostly past this irrational fear, even after watching this clip. But, now, after watching this short film, I’m pretty sure it will come back with a vengeance. I have never seen such terrifying footage before in my life!
The difference between this clip and my childhood nightmare is the sheer quantity of hands, and the fact that the aren’t coming out from under the bed. Honestly, I almost wish they were, it might be less horrifying than this.
For my own sanity’s sake, I’m choosing to believe that this video isn’t real. I’m quite sure that if there was really any such thing as attacking demon hands, they would have been able to scoop up a video recorder and prevent the images from ending up on YouTube.
But, rest assured, the image of a million hands coming out of every little crevice in the room will haunt me for the rest of my days. And that ending! I think I’ll be returning to my childhood long-jump again.
