Becoming a teacher means dedicating yourself not only to imparting as much information into your lessons as possible, but also making sure to connect with those students in a way that actually gets the message across.

Before entering his first year as a fourth-grade teacher in Chicago, Dwayne Reed decided to give his pupils an extra special welcome in the form of a catchy tune.
The lyrics are silly, but it's clear Reed is serious when it comes to helping the kids in his class reach their highest potential. Dressing up in goofy costumes and rhyming about science, math, and history, it almost makes you wonder if he should make a career switch.
Luckily for the students walking into his classroom every day, Reed seems completely dedicated to his current vocation. I can only imagine how excited I would be to see my teacher doing something like this at the start of the school year!
