The power of Photoshop never ceases to bring us joy, whether it's making silly images or simply removing that blemish that just had to show up when you were having your picture taken. It's a great tool in the right hands.
But then there are people who go above and beyond in the world of digital manipulation.
The subreddit HybridAnimals is full of these brave souls, who spend their time digitally combining two well-known animals into one majestically bizarre hybrid beast.
Some are adorable, some are a little unsettling, but they're all delightful. After all, there's always something satisfying in a mash-up of two seemingly dissimilar things.
These imaginary creatures are also a testament to the talent of their creators, whose skill at manipulating photos into something convincingly lifelike is impressive. In fact, some of them are almost a little too lifelike!
Take a look at some of our favorites, and see if you can come up with your own freaky hybrid animal!
