I've never laughed so hard at something that gave me so much secondhand embarrassment.
While most people's idea of a prank involves something like switching the sugar and the salt, one guy took his practical joke to the next level. When a friend was heading over to his house for the first time, he gave him the wrong address.
Then, to make things even more embarrassing, he told his friend to "just walk in" without knocking because he was in the middle of playing a video game. What happened next has my entire body cringing.
I'm all about putting on a fun, innocent prank, like how this guy scared his mom with a stuffed dog. But what this guy did to his friend might have taken things a little too far. Luckily, this happened in a decent neighborhood in the U.K., so the risk of the friend getting shot wasn't too high, but there's no doubt that those neighbors were probably really freaked out when a stranger just walked into their home. But once you get past the risks of doing something like this, it actually is really funny. Just like when this hair stylist made his clients think he cut off all their hair, you know you wouldn't be laughing if this happened to you, but seeing it happen to someone else is definitely enough to make you giggle!
I know this prank is completely hilarious, but it's probably best if you just tell your friends your real address the first time they come over…or have your parents make them think they went to the wrong house. But since everything turned out OK, I'm going to keep alternating between cracking up at that poor friend's reaction and feeling really, really embarrassed for him.
