Wild animals have learned to get around in this big world despite all the interruptions we've bestowed upon them. These include all of our developments, roads, and so on.
Before we came along, these creatures had whole forests to themselves. The more and more houses we build, and the more natural habitats we take down. Of course this means our world will collide with the natural one much more often.
Since it seems unlikely that we'll stop building more structures anytime soon, we better start learning to respect these wild animals if they ever cross our path.
Remember that they are hungry, just like us, and they're probably just looking for a source of food if they've wandered into your space.
It's best to keep all of your trash completely sealed and secure in order to minimize the danger of the animals, as well as protect your own safety. While these animals don't mean harm, they might get extremely frightened if we get too close, and will defend themselves.
This hungry bear, though, had a bigger target than the Smith family's garbage cans on garbage night. He wanted to go for the entire garbage truck. Imagine the spoils in there!
Thankfully, no one, including the bear, was harmed in this encounter.
But, I do wonder how that big guy got all the way up there in the first place…
