Now that gas prices have finally begun to go down, it seems that one astute driver has noticed a possible scam at the pumps — and it could have already happened to you.
While Kaloyan Pechevski was pumping gas one morning, he suddenly realized that the price ticker was increasing. There was just one little problem: He wasn't getting any gas.
Take a look at the video below and let us know if you've ever seen anything like it before. What would you do if you saw the price increasing for no reason? Luckily, the man thought quickly and brought out his camera — but what if you didn't even notice it happening?
Unfortunately, there are all kinds of scams and scammers looking to steal your money, and while we can't determine if this CITGO station in Oregon was intentionally doing this or not, there are certainly bad people out there who want to lie, cheat, and steal your money!
When Pechevski went inside the store to demand his money back, the man behind the register said that sometimes it gets loose and does that. So it seems that the CITGO station in the video was aware of the problem, but didn't they think to do anything about it?
It's hard enough having to fill up your gas tank so often — but a situation like this one, scam or not, is even harder on your wallet!
