From pretty much every song the Spice Girls ever wrote to Meghan Trainor's ladies anthem of 2014, "All About The Bass," we've heard more girl power hits then we can handle!
However, none can hold a candle to the ULTIMATE chick song and I'll give you a hint…it's NOT by the self-proclaimed feminist Beyoncé. In 1983, the world changed forever when Cyndi Lauper gave us gals something to sing about. To me, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is the one and only girl power anthem of our lifetime…and it would appear that West Virginia mom, Kelli Long agrees.
In this absolutely adorable video, which Long uploaded to her YouTube page, she sings "Girls" with her two favorite girls, her daughters, Kenzie and Layna. Their unrehearsed car performance is pure joy and I just can't get enough of this awesome threesome. Have you ever seen girls have THIS much fun singing before? I just love this!
