I like to think of myself as a creative type, but when it comes to anything truly artistic, I'm better off just watching…and I absolutely LOVE watching masters at work.
In this incredible video, an unbelievably talented glass sculptor takes a knife to a hot ball of molten glass and creates something absolutely amazing in just under one minute. All I could do in 60 seconds with hot glass is create a big mess and possibly a serious medical emergency, but this guy is a true master of his craft.
The sculptor starts by pulling on the glass and twisting it in a very particular way. You can see that it's very important he does each move in a very precise fashion, so he doesn't ruin the wonderful end result. When he reveals the sculpture to be a small glass horse, I was just stunned. I've never seen anything like this before in my life!
