With all the crazy music videos out there, it's hard to make yours really stand out unless you've already got a huge fan base. But Japanese recording artist Amuro Namiech has found a new way to catch people's attention, and based on the numbers, it's definitely working.
The video for her new song, "Golden Touch," lets you interact with what's happening on the screen just by keeping your finger in one spot the whole time. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but now I hope more videos like this start popping up!
As technology continues to advance more and more, people are finding more ways to get their products to not just appeal to their consumers, but also interact with them. Just like this adorable dog billboard that makes it almost irresistible to adopt a shelter pet, Amuro's video really grabs your attention with how much it focuses on you. I haven't seen a music video that stuck in my memory so much since these two ladies created a country song that called out all the sexism in their industry!
I'm not even a fan of the Japanese pop scene, but this song is going to be stuck in my head all day…probably because I've watched the video about three times in one sitting. I don't know about you, but I sure hope that more artists start finding ways to make their music videos more interactive!
If you loved this music video as much as I do, SHARE it on Facebook with all your friends!
