Gordon Ramsay Brings Contestant To Tears During Apple Pie Competition

Anyone who has seen an episode of MasterChef knows how tough Gordon Ramsay can be on his contestants.

The chef, who says he can tell a good cook simply from the way he or she makes scrambled eggs, is known for his brutal honesty. He rarely bites his tongue no matter who is in front of him.

But once in a while, Mr. Ramsay's soft side comes out, and it's certainly a sight to see. Who could forget about the time he helped a 12-year-old contestant after she broke down in tears on MasterChef Junior?

In the moment below, Ramsay also eased up on another contestant, who let her insecurities get the best of her. The super chef completely surprised the flustered competitor named Christine after she thought she failed at making an apple pie.

Not only did he compliment her ability to make the apple pie, the famous television personality also offered her some beautiful words of encouragement. What Ramsay tells the contestant at the 1:43 mark, made her incredibly emotional. Even the other contestants appeared to get teary-eyed as they heard Ramsay comfort her.

As for the apple pie's taste, Ramsay told her, "The flavor is amazing. It's delicious, so well done."
