Grace VanderWaal Sings Stunning Cover Of ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’

Performing a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” can be either a hit or a pretty big miss.

But in this case, NBC’s America’s Got Talent contestant Grace VanderWaal hit the nail directly on its head.

Grace is a 12-year-old singer-songwriter from New York. With the way that she sings and performs, you’d think she has decades' worth of experience. It’s truly unbelievable to hear that voice come out of such a young girl.

Not only does she have a very unique singing voice, but her accompaniment of a ukulele really sets her apart from other young performers.

She recently got the golden buzzer from Howie Mandel when singing an original song on America's Got Talent. The buzzer sends her straight to the semifinals; and I can’t wait to see her next television performance, where I’m sure she’ll wow the judges once more.

In this beautifully serene clip, Miss VanderWaal turns an old classic into her own masterpiece. It's not hard to tell that she connects deeply to the words she’s singing. And her voice is one of the most soothing voices I’ve ever heard, and she couldn’t have chosen a better song to cover.
