Going to the salon for a brand-new hairstyle can be both exciting and nerve-racking. In the video below, one client's emotions spiral out of control right there in the stylist's chair… and for good reason!
On the hidden camera show What Would You Do?, a woman named Tracy heads to the salon in Montclair, NJ. It's important that Tracy walk out of the salon feeling confident, because later that day she has a job interview with a conservative law firm. The stylist pretends to know what he's doing, and tells Tracy she's in good hands.
In fact, the stylist promises that her new 'do will change her life. "You're going to look fabulous," he assures her.
But Tracy is absolutely horrified when her new hairstyle is revealed. Even the stylist admits to making a huge mistake and totally flubbing up her highlights. "You made me look like a skunk!" Tracy cries.
Keep in mind, Tracy and her stylist are actors — while real-life clients are seated next to them.
