Stranger Steals Handicapped Driver’s Parking Spot, Writes Nasty Note About Woman’s Legs

While we are all partial to our own struggles — whether they be mental, emotional, or physical – there's no doubt that those who have physical limitations must live with adjustments to their everyday lives. The loss of a limb, for example, can change everything, from how one holds a toothbrush to the possibility of going up and down stairs.

Ashley Brady lives with one leg and a prosthetic she is getting used to. She has a handicapped parking space close to her front door, given to her by the management of the apartment complex she lives in.

Brady relies on the proximity of this parking space to her home to make her life a little easier on a day-to-day basis.

But that changed when a stranger took it from her. So she decided to leave a note, sternly letting this driver know why she has the right to the spot, and that he or she should be more considerate of a handicapped person's needs.

If Brady was expecting a response to her note, she certainly wasn't expecting the one she received.

Ashley Brady has struggled since the accident that took her right leg. She's still getting used to her prosthetic, and has fallen many times in the process.

To make her life easier, she has a parking space in close proximity to the front door of her apartment. When one inconsiderate driver took that space, she left a stern note.

In return, the driver left her a very nasty letter, mocking her for only having one leg and dismissing her struggles as insignificant.

The shocking letter got national attention after Brady's sister posted it online.

Now they are both using it to raise awareness of what life as a disabled individual is really like, fighting for respect and more rights.

Thousands all over the world have responded positively by sharing the photo and helping their cause, as you'll see in the video below. The clip also emphasizes why Brady is glad the note went viral in the first place.
