After over a year of dating, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have everyone buzzing over when the wedding bells will ring.
Of course, we can't say for sure whether or not Harry has plans to pop the question any time soon. The very private couple only just made their first public appearance together back in September 2017. That said, they also caused quite the stir by openly holding hands as they strolled through the grounds of the Invictus Games, which are hosted by Harry.
Meghan also recently gushed about their romance in an interview with Vanity Fair. All signs seem to be pointing to a ring on her finger any day now.
Take a look below to see what the next royal wedding will likely look like when Prince Harry and Meghan make their walk down the aisle.

The sparks were clearly flying between Prince Harry and his lovely lady, Meghan Markle, on their first official public appearance together.
There's no doubt their wedding (if it happens) will be just as adorable!
1. Meghan's First Marriage Won't Be A Factor

Meghan, shown above in a scene from her hit TV show Suits, was married for about two years to her first husband, Trevor Engelson.
In the past, this type of thing kept members of the royal family from marrying their chosen spouse — Edward VIII famously abdicated the throne in order to say "I do" to Wallis Simpson, an American divorcée.
Luckily, the Church of England changed their tune in 2002 and is now more accepting of these situations, as Harry's father proved when he married Camilla in 2005.
2. They'll Likely Keep The Ceremony Low Key

Unlike William and Kate's massive wedding ceremony at the famous Westminster Abbey, chances are more likely that Harry and Meghan will head to the more humble setting of St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle for their nuptials.
3. Harry Has Some Serious Bling Options To Propose With

Since William already gave their mother's stunning sapphire to Kate when he popped the question, Harry has to choose from the many other beautiful jewels lining the Windsor family vaults.
Some are guessing he might repurpose the emeralds from one of Diana's favorite chokers (worn in the photo above as a trendy headband) while others wonder if he might go back a few generations and place the Queen Mother's ring on Meghan's hand instead.
4. The Queen Will Have To Give Them Permission

As with Harry's parents and older brother before him, the Queen has to give her written permission before any heir to the throne can walk down the aisle, thanks to the Royal Marriages Act of 1772.
Chances are pretty high she's already given her grandson her blessing, but there's no word on whether or not she's put it down on paper yet.
5. The Palace Will Announce Their Engagement

William and Kate were engaged for about a month before Buckingham Palace made their official announcement. Although they attended functions together after the proposal and before the announcement, Kate made sure not to wear the ring until the news broke.
With that in mind, it's possible Harry's already gotten down on one knee and we're just waiting to hear about it!
6. Meghan Might Have To Convert

Although Meghan hasn't actually divulged her religious affiliation, she did attend Catholic private school while growing up, according to reports from People magazine.
And while the official rule against a royal heir marrying someone who is Catholic became more lax in 2013, there could still be lingering ties to tradition that encourage Meghan to convert to the Church of England.
7. The Guest List Will Definitely Be Star-Studded

That is to say, perhaps even more celebrities than his brother's previous royal weddings, which included guests like Elton John and David and Victoria Beckham.
Meghan's closest friends include tennis star Serena Williams and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, shown in the photo with Meghan above. Chances are there will be quite a few more famous faces lining the pews when she ties the knot with Harry!
8. Meghan Might Help Design Her Gown

The actress has been known to dabble in fashion while collaborating on a collection with Canadian retailer Reitmans. That, or she might tap one of her favorite fashion designers, like Erdem, for the job.
Either way, chances are high that both she and the gown will be absolutely gorgeous.
9. George And Charlotte Will Probably Join The Bridal Party

Unlike the American ceremonies Meghan might be used to, bridesmaids tend to be quite a bit younger across the pond. Harry's niece and nephew will likely fill in as a bridesmaid and pageboy for the ceremony.
She might also elect to have a friend or family member serve as a sort of maid of honor as Kate did with her sister, Pippa, for her own vows.
10. Meghan Might Start Going By A Different First Name

Born Rachel Meghan Markle, royal protocol might have the actress returning to the first name on her birth certificate when she earns the title of Her Royal Highness.
11. They Will Probably Wait Until Summer 2018

Not only is July one of the most popular months for the royal family to host a wedding, like with Harry's own parents, but it would also give plenty of time for Kate to welcome her and William's third child and not be forced to be uncomfortably pregnant during the celebration.
