This Man Took The Greatest Sick Day Ever

Admit it. You know there ha been at least one day in your life when you just didn't want to get out of bed, get ready, and go to school or work. Even if you convinced yourself that you don't feel good, you know you aren't actually sick, you don't have a doctor's appointment, and really don't have anything else you need to do — but sometimes you just "need" that day off, so you call out of school or work just to relax.

The only person we have ever seen with legitimate cause to fake a sick day is the little boy who was embarrassed by his dad's sweater and refused to go to school until he changed!

Typically, these hooky days are spent mostly in bed, napping on and off throughout the day, watching shows like The Price is Right, and maybe getting some household chores done. As long as you aren't doing it on a regular basis or blowing off something time-sensitive, it's not the worst thing in the world.

But imagine if you were to actually accomplish something in these days, or do something you have always wanted to do. If you could do anything or go anywhere on those fake sick days (without your boss finding out, of course), what would you do?

If you need a little inspiration to answer this question, look no further than Matthew Philip's video below. When he woke up at 3 a.m. one morning and decided he didn't "feel like going to work," he didn't waste his day on the couch or laying around in bed. Instead, Matthew decided to book a flight to New Zealand (from Australia) for a 24-hour whirlwind day of traveling, sightseeing, and enjoying his day off work.
