When you're a kid, sometimes all you want to do is grow up and move out of your parents house – especially during those sometimes turbulent teenage years. Then something happens to us as adults and all we ever want to do is go back to that safe life as a kid; which is why family milestones as an adult mean so much more now than they did when you were younger.
For this man, one of the those major milestones was his father's 65th birthday and he stopped at nothing to get back home and say two very important words to his father: "Happy Birthday."
With the help of a few friends, he was able to somehow keep the keep the intercontinental flight from Australia to the United States, a few more flights from California to Chicago, and then another back home to Canada a secret from his entire family.
He flew for 28 hours straights, all for the love of family. What an amazing son! Just looking at his father's reaction is priceless!
