Dhundhun the stump-tailed macaque is turning one year old, and today she's having a birthday party with a few friends, along with her adopted mom, Sujata.
Sujata hand-raised Bura (Dhundhun's nickname) after her mother died, and since then, has given her to a local zoo so she has more space. It looks like she still has a lot of human friends, though, and the baby pictures Sujata took of her when she was first adopted are just adorable!
Because these monkeys are "vulnerable" (which is heading toward endangered), zoos are trying to find ways to keep them safe, and increase their numbers!
