When Brandy Cantrell Nguyen bought an old VCR from the Goodwill in South Carolina, she never would've guessed that it would come along with a special tape.
Inside the VCR was a recording of the 1998 wedding between a couple named Jamie and Ron. Instead of tossing the precious video away, Nguyen made it her mission to find the couple featured in the video and return the tape.
Much like the woman in New York who tried to track down the owner of old wedding photos, Nguyen also used the internet to track down the couple or their family members.
She took images from the video and shared them on her Facebook page hoping that the power of social media would help her reach the owners.
"Share this post! Maybe this amazing Facebook world can get it back to them," Nguyen wrote along with the pictures.

Brandy Cantrell Nguyen had no idea that an old VCR she bought from the Goodwill at Carolina Forest in Myrtle Beach would hold a tape with a couple's memories.
"It still had a home movie inside!" she wrote on Facebook. "Turns out, it's someone's wedding video."
The label on the tape reads “Jamie + Ron’s Wedding + St. Augustine” along with the dates "Feb. 28 to March 1, 1998."
Nguyen decided to share several snapshots from the video on her Facebook page along with a plea to find the rightful owners.
"Share this post! Maybe this amazing Facebook world can get it back to them," she wrote.
Within days, the post with the old wedding photos was shared more than 2,000 times.
Some commented in an attempt to help the search, including one who wrote, "Shared. I have family that lives down there and tagged them so hopefully you will find who it belongs to."
