For hill runner Ricky Wilson, a day exploring the outdoors is certainly nothing out of the ordinary. During his time in the great outdoors, you can imagine that Wilson has probably seen some pretty interesting things.
After all, nature can be very unpredictable, and when dealing with the great outdoors, you never know what is going to come your way. However, nothing could have prepared him for what he saw during a recent trip through the hills in the United Kingdom's Lake District.
According to Wilson, during his run, he "could hear a noise through the wind." While most people would have simply ignored the sound and moved on, Wilson did the exact opposite. After investigating the sound, he came across an adorable little lamb that had gotten lost. Instead of leaving the lamb to fend for herself, Wilson decided to help bring her to safety.
As the two climbed together through the mountains, Wilson even went the extra mile and picked up the little lamb when she was unable to carry on by herself. Although these two can't communicate using words, they still found a way to work together. This sweet moment has officially given "teamwork makes the dream work" a completely new meaning.
