Homeless Couple Celebrates Fairytale Wedding For Free

Lynette and Steve Hudson are both homeless, but they were able to have a dream wedding without having to pay a dime.

Like any traditional wedding, the Hudsons' special day included several must-haves. The reception room was filled with decorations and guests were able to eat from a buffet serving filet mignon and lobster. Of course, there was also a wedding cake.

The couple was elated that they were able to celebrate their love as any couple wants to do.

"It was fairly tale," the bride, who wore a puffy wedding gown, told Florida’s Fox 13. "It was beautiful."

Their special day was all thanks to homeless advocate Sean Cononie, who founded America's First Homeless Resort. The organization covered the $3,500 cost of the Hudson wedding. Cononie even gave the couple money towards a honeymoon from his personal account.

"It comes from our money, the money that we make selling our newspaper, or by the transition fees, people pay for the hotel, or in this case, I'm giving $500 towards it as a donation," said Cononie about getting funds.

Cononie has done this for more than three-dozen other couples. His reason?

“Every girl deserves a fine wedding,” he said.
