Where there's a will, there's a way, and no one proves that better than animals living with disabilities, including this incredibly determined miniature dwarf horse named Roo.
Roozer Brewz (or "Roo" for short) was born on April 14th, 2011 with a number of complications, including what is known as a "windswept leg," severe angular limb deformities, and tendon laxity on all four of his legs, making it very difficult for him to stand and get around.
However, Roo has very loving, attentive pet parents who have been with him every step of the way. When he couldn't stand long enough to nurse from his mama, Christine Clark and her partner bottlefed him themselves for the first two days of his life. After consulting with multiple vets and taking him in for surgery and getting him a horse wheelchair and leg graces, Roo is living every day to the fullest, and even has his own team of supporters known as "Roo's Crew" who have helped fund his vet care.

Roozer Brewz lives in Kansas and inspires people with his inner strength and will to live no matter what obstacles life throws at him.
Known as the "little horse with a heart larger than himself," he has meet and greets with children and young people coping with issues like mental illness and bullying.
Because Roo's back legs don't work, he relies on the help of his wheelchair and leg braces to get around and increase the strength in his legs.
Thanks to help of some very generous donors, Roo was able to get surgery to help him walk, and wears his custom orthotics every day.
Roo has a comfy, air-conditioned enclosure where he gets plenty of rest, relaxation, and TLC.
His many fans and admirers have even created an autographed poster for him.
And he's always quick to make friends, whether they be animals or humans!
Roo was up against all of the odds, but still manages to stay strong and enjoy life! He is is truly an inspiration.
