How Could Someone Do This?! I’m So Devastated By What Happened, But So Thankful Someone Cared!

On a rarely driven road in Montgomery Texas, veterinary technician Tiffany Dieringer came upon one of the most horrific, heartbreaking sights imaginable: an abandoned dog so wounded and starving he could barely stumble around. Pieces of flesh were missing, all of his feet were swollen, he was emaciated, and close to death. His body was so sensitive that even the slightest touch made him howl in pain. She carefully placed him in her car and took him home. “Had he given up,” Tiffany said, “had he stopped fighting, I would have let him go. It would have been hard, but I would not be selfish.” But after he ate his first meal, Tiffany could tell he wasn’t ready to die. And if Tad could give it everything he had, Tiffany would to. The love, money, and time she’s invested in nursing “Tad” back to health helps me remember that for every horrible person out there who would hurt a dog, there’s a tender, loving soul like Tiffany, too. Scroll through Tad’s gallery, and if you are thankful for people like Tiffany, and pups like Tad, please SHARE their story!

Why? How can a person live with themselves after treating an innocent animal like this?

Even though his wounds are still so horrible, he looks thankful to have a safe, peaceful place to rest.
