How To Turn A Red Velvet Cake Into A Creepy Human Brain

This week on her YouTube channel, "How To Cake It," Yolanda the cake-baking pro has given herself quite the chilling assignment — turning a delicious red velvet cake into a gooey edible human brain. Not only is this perfect for your next Halloween party, but anyone who enjoys "The Walking Dead" will appreciate this confection year-found.

The inside of the brain is a deep red velvet cake, iced lightly with Italian meringue buttercream and topped with fondant patterns that resemble brain tissue. "It’s amazing what a little raspberry jam can do," Yolanda says. "This human brain looks fresh from a skull!"
