He Rubs His Hands On The Sink – Why? Genius!

If you're a cook, you know that peeling and cutting garlic is just part of the process. We've already learned an amazing trick to peel it (in about 10 seconds flat!), but after you spend all that time peeling and chopping, there's always that garlic smell that lingers.

I've tried everything to get it off my hands – soap and water, lemon juice, even vinegar – but none of them seem to work as well as one simple trick, detailed in the video below.

If you have a stainless steel sink (and most of us do), you can get the smell of garlic off your hands in as little as two seconds, just by rubbing them on the steel of your sink! Stainless steel silverware or appliances will work as well.

I love it when I come across simple tricks like this. They're the sorts of things that once you learn them, you never forget, because they make your life that much easier! Goodbye garlic hands!
